Tethered Dreams
A series of paintings made of the tethered, pleasure boats of Breda.
Each one with it's own personality. Perfectly symmetrical, aqualine forms parked on the on the flat, unbounded highway of the Dutch waterways. Subject to the customisations of the weather, time, nature and their owner (their own personal dreamer). These islands of hope; promising adventure, freedom, pleasure and escape, wisper of potential; while slowly filling with water.
