Figurative

The Figurative paintings represent work done over the past four years. Based largely on Caravaggio's work and style, they aim to convey petty autobiographical themes in a bloated, self mockingly imperious style.

In doing this they offer me the opportunity to pursue two unfashionable aims: beauty and pleasure.
